In June 2019, PresentiGO received approval of the patent claim number 14 / 825,752. After three years of persistent fighting with the patent office in the U.S., we managed to break the barrier and protect the key method and main USP (unique selling proposition) in PresentiGO for good. The patent method deals with projection of 3D models in classic PowerPoint through 2D pictures containing metadata. Each 3D model is being exported to PresentiGO in the form of a 2D picture pasted into classic PowerPoint. The classic PowerPoint does not know how to interpret this data but after running it in PresentiGO the whole scene, or 3D model, “comes to life”. PresentiGO is currently the only solution that can use the classic PowerPoint format and insert 3D models or complex 3D scenes into it. Thanks to this patented feature you can create 3D catalogs, 3D presentations, and interactive animations. Moreover, the whole content runs in PowerPoint and it is possible to modify and make changes using PowerPoint editor.
Regarding the patent claim, companies like Microsoft and Disney also submitted applications. However, they were not recipients of the patent and the claim was registered to PresentiGO company.
